I remember that one. There's a few little tweaks I'd like to make, but it's a great concept and well executed.

Here is perhaps the best anime AMV ever, IMHO. Hard to believe it's already 8 years old now. I've been wasting time on YouTube for eight years now???

I've been wanting to create an AMV for a long time, just as a fun, quick little side project.

So I finally gave it a shot, and here are two I put together.

"Line of Fire"
Anime: Bubblegum Crisis, Dirty Pair, Gunsmith Cats, Iria, Kite, Mezzo Forte, Armitage III, Cowboy Bebop

and

"Mighty Wings of Macross"
Anime: Macross: DYRL

You did a very great job with these two videos!

Thanks! They were a blast to edit. Hopefully, when I get some free time, I'll be able to put another one or two together.

These are awesome, Char! The first one especially has some great timing/editing transitions, and reminds me of a lot of the classic older AMVs from when I was younger. But both of them are excellent--You did a great job!!

Many thanks, usamimi! That older style of AMV was exactly what I was going for. I remember back when the whole AMV thing was fairly uncommon and those that were made had to be done via linear video editing (tape-to-tape dubbing and edited in sequential order). Having worked with non-digital editing in the past, it boggles the mind how some people achieved those early AMVs.

Right?! I can't imagine how hard that must've been--not to mention time consuming!
