Haha, that's awesome! XD I'd love to be part of something like that! Sadly, now that I live in Texas, most of my friends that would enjoy something like that are too far away. Sigh.
Well, they're ATTEMPTING the anthropomorphic widescreen...hopefully it works out, like llj pointed out they did with Locke the Superman.

We do a private livestream sometimes, we used to do it twice monthly, called "Ninja Night". We'd watch 90's martial arts movies and martial arts anime (Ranma 1/2, Fatal Fury mostly). And then every once in a while a non-ninja anime or Japanese movie. We started it from our love of Surf Ninjas.

How fun! :O I'm not really a fan of Surf Ninjas or whatever, but if you do something like that again, I'd definitely try to watch, heehee.

Yeah you don't have to be a fan of Surf Ninjas, it's just what started it because we were. But if we ever do it again I'll let you know!

I've watched the Fatal Fury OVAs, but I never got around to watching the movies. I watched the OVAs dubbed, since it was the only way I could rent them back in the day. The voices were the same as the Ranma 1/2 dubs. I guess they were called Ocean Studios?

Yeah most all of Viz titles, the dubbing was provided by Canadian based Ocean Studios. The voices were pretty recognizable across titles. Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture was my favorite among the 3 Fatal Fury anime. The one draw back is a small scene leads up to another sequel, but they never made another after it. In fact, the scene should have been removed completely, as it had nothing to do with the movie at all, but does harken back to a previous OAV.

Don't they still use Ocean Studios sometimes? I know they just recently did the "Inuyasha: Final Act" OAVs, and the IY TV series...I think Death Note was with them, too.

Black Lagoon's dub was Ocean too. Roberta's Blood Trail just came out in the U.S. this week. (And I'm having problems with my blu ray disc of it, grumble grumble)

I'm pretty sure they do, I still hear them every so often on newer anime.

In general, all of Viz's anime use Ocean Studios. Of course, Viz barely releases much anime anymore, but when they do, it's Ocean. Bandai and Geneon used to go to them sometimes too.
