I want to go to Tokyo, but will be busy probably until sometime next year. I haven't been to Akiba and such since I went to comic market in 2008.. also took a trip to Osaka, Nara, and even Hinamizawa (aka Shirakawa) to pray at Rika's shrine. They had so many of those wood omikuji with drawings of her on them.

So.. if anyone finds themselves up north, drop me a line. Not sure what would bring you to Aomori-ken exactly, unless you are a fan of JASDF/JMSDF. It does make a decent place to hop off the Shinkansen and take a rest before heading up to Hokkaido for their attractions like the Sapporo Snow Festival.. or maybe even see some historical stuff in Aomori like the Tsugaru Shamisen museum.

Anyone besides me and Nitro going to A-kon this year? We'll be on volunteer staff, but we should be able to figure out a time to meet up during our off times (I try to make my work hours early in the morning so I can have the rest of the day off.)

Will anyone be at SakuraCon this year? A group of collector fans I usually spend the entire time together in lines or panels, but there's always room for more!

The only two major conventions I have going on for the rest of this year is Animazement at the end of May and Anime Weekend Atlanta at the end of September. Other than Dave usually always being at AWA, I'm down with meeting up with people at either of these places. The only other place I can think off that ill go too before Animazement is the SC Comic Con in Greenville SC the first weekend of April. The only thing that has my interest there is an art gallery of Akira artwork I'd love to see.
