Weekends tend to be the best time for me as well. No real preference on time, it's always about a 50/50 chance if I'm busy or not.

How about this weekend? Saturday evening for North Americans, Sunday morning for those of us in Japan?

I need to install bloated ol' Skype on my computer. I assume I can schedule an event like we can with G+, right?

OK, tonight I finally got around to installing Skype. Unless I am missing something, it doesn't look like I am able to schedule a call meeting. Am I missing something, or is it just not as useful as Google Hangouts?

I'd like to schedule a chat for this weekend, but I just realized that it will be the 4th of July in America, and I imagine you all will be preoccupied with backyard barbecues and fireworks while it's Sunday morning here in Happy Japan Land.

I do NOT see any way of scheduling a call with Skype. If I cannot, maybe I can just schedule something with Google Hangouts after all and just include a note that we'll have the chat via Skype. What do you think? Is there any better way to schedule this?

Skype doesn't have a scheduling feature, sadly. Everyone would just be expected to remember a specific day/time.
