Oh great... Well, I will go ahead and make a schedule on Google at least. So is next weekend good for people?

I think I can make it this upcoming weekend (July 4th weekend) depending on some vacation plans, but I'm not sure I could make it the week after. Any interest in a weekday/weeknight call? I suppose time zones might make that difficult, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Of course, if everyone else can make it, please don't reschedule just for me!

OK, so you know what? F Skype. It doesn't have a scheduling feature, it's bloated, and slower than Google Hangouts. Plus, I already have everyone's contact info for Google. Kame asked me via PM why we're switching to Skype, and I had to remind myself why. The one who wanted Skype the most was Servant of Priss, but he hasn't logged on since August 2014. Ryoran can use both. She uses Skype, but can also use Google. I think if she can schedule something on her Outlook, we can also sign into Skype and send her a chat to remind her of the Hangout if we see her online. Then she can sign in. I will set up a Hangout for July 11th (12th in Japan) and go from there.

As for doing something during the week, I really cannot do anything like that while I'm on the other side of the world. Someone else can do that if there is interest. I keep getting invited to a G Hangout for a modeling discussion by some guy in England on Sunday nights his time, but I have better things to do at 3am on a Monday (like, you know, sleeping).

So yeah, Skype can eat a bag. We'll just use it to reach out to Ryoran if need be. Let's stick to what we know works, as it enables scheduling.

I'd be up for that. I know I said I'd host one a while back, but I just had a crazy number of months between work and other things, I haven't been able to check in as often as I'd like, but with things winding down, if we set a date, I'll be there!

Also, just out of curiosity, has anyone thought of a closed group for the Lounge on Facebook? Again, just curious, but if it's not an idea no one likes, that makes sense to me!

Let's aim for a weekend in October. The only time I will not be free would be the weekend of the 10th and 11th.

I don't have a Facebook and my goal in life is to have my tombstone read: "Here lies Greg. He never watched Titanic nor ever had a Facebook account." If others want to join though, I'm sure it's a nifty idea.
