NEW Banana Fish anime in 2018!

I was totally blown away by the news yesterday that we're getting a Banana Fish anime next year! Holy cow!

For those who might not know: Banana Fish is a shoujo manga from the 80s/90s that was insanely popular with both female and male readers for it's crime/spy story and beautiful artwork, and is still pretty popular even to this day. Though it was immensely popular, it never got an anime adaptation. Until now! The manga was released here first through Viz's Pulp magazine and then later in graphic novels, but has been out of print and very hard to get all of for years now....so I'm hoping with this announcement, Viz might consider doing a re-release in conjunction with the anime coming out (the staff so far sounds very impressive, so I'm very optimistic about it, too!).
