Wow some mystery person started a YouTube channel called Neglected Anison and of all things to upload they put up the entire GoShogun: The Time Étranger OST. Thanks whoever you are mystery person!!

No they specifically did not have the GoShogun: The Time Étranger OST.

That second track is quite a surprise -- also gotta say that "Flash Lady" sounds a lot like something that will attract future funk remix artists. (^_^)

The ANN entry for Tachio Akano implies that he came out of retirement to do the 3rd ending to Heaven's Lost Property Forte, although I kinda wonder if this is a case of having two people with the same name, as a 23 year gap for a guy who was working in the 70s for a show that isn't a cover of an old property is a little unusual. (^_^;)

There are some kinda weird image songs in this one but maybe that's just par for the course as far as image songs are concerned.

Image songs can be downright strange. One of my favs is a song about Dr. Hell from Mazinger Z. It's sung in a way that makes it seem as if Dr. Hell himself is doing the vocals. Maybe it IS, the actual seiyuu that is. I just don't know. All I know is I wish like heck I could animate because there sure needs to be a music video of this.

Then there's the cases where it seem Toei liked to re-use the score for image songs but right now I can't think of the specific case, pretty sure it was some Great Mazinger image song that got ported with different lyrics into Grandizer but I just can't recall. argh.
