I think these newer takes on older classics tend to be quite disappointing. Though Sonoda has retained his personal style more than most artists, so I'm still curious.

Usually, yeah. Since this is a short & some of the people who worked on the original are returning for it, I'm a bit more optimistic at least!

Its like someone at ACEN remembers what their con was like 20 years ago. I'm also optimistic about this team making a continuation. Maybe after the con they can pitch GSC to Netflix and get some $$
