Captain Galaxy Harlock Express

Back in '09 I wrote a piece for Otaku USA about the '78 Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999 TV series, and for this latest Let's Anime column I dusted that one off, gave it an updating, and here it is: http://letsanime.blogspot.com/2018/07/c ... roads.html

Since I wrote that piece, the two series are still on Crunchyroll, 999 is on Tubi.tv, the Harlock manga is out in English, and both series got DVD releases (though one was definitely better than the other).

Yay Harlock! It's pretty amazing how much Leiji Matsumoto we've been getting lately, huh? I still keep having to remind myself that the Yamato manga is coming soon, too....
