Manga: The Book from The British Museum

Post by usamimi »

So most of us might have heard already that there's a very cool exhibition going on right now at The British Museum all about the history of manga. They also released a huge book as a companion that seems to have a lot of great info and reproductions of page art in it. It's on sale now at the museum, but they're also releasing it for sale to the general public as well: https://amzn.to/2Fe0dep

It looks really interesting! I want to try to pick it up eventually.

It's great that they chose Kaoru Mori's Otoyomegatari as the book's cover. Mori's works focus on regional topics, but they have international appeal, perfect for a book like this.
