As a (relatively young) archivist who is working hard to document anime history, as well as to create a community for that purpose, it's a pleasure to finally be here, and I am excited to get to know everyone, as well as to learn things that I previously never knew
If you guys are wondering what contributions I have made to document this topic, I have saved newspaper clippings, posts from online forums/sites, collected some C/FO flyers (yes, you heard me right), old fanzines, and some tapes off eBay, and (surprisingly) Amazon. My goal is to scan and convert all of these forms of physical media from my collection to digital form, so I can put it up on the Internet Archive, where it can be preserved and up for people to see.
Anyway, I think this introduction should do for now; if you have any questions that you want answered, then go ahead and ask! I am willing to open up about myself, because I'm sure you want to know more about me
With that said, I'm glad to be here, and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me!
