Post by davemerrill »

I really liked your Anime from 1983 Let's Anime article, I'd love to see the panel, too. That Classic Anime Afternoon sounds like fun, too. Have a good show!

we're a week out from Anime North and the general feeling is it went really well. Record breaking numbers, beautiful weather, a big, good-natured crowd full of positive energy, and we only needed the backup generator once on Sunday (some power company issues). I masked up inside - the full N95 for the vendors hall - and so far, so good - I haven't heard any reports of COVID or even con crud, really. I spent a few shifts working doors and lines with the Panels staff and I really enjoyed being there on the front lines, answering questions, helping panelists, and generally being in the thick of things.
