The Old School Otaku Lounge

Wow, science fiction on the SyFy Channel? That's a novel idea! And it's space SF to boot. This looks real cool. I grew up with BSG as a kid, but unfortunately, I could never get into the BSG from 10 years ago. I thought the premise was cool, but the cinematographer really annoyed me. All the zooming in and focusing and panning back and forth between two people having a conversation annoyed me. I don't like it when they try to make things look "real" when it isn't. I liked Saving Private Ryan, but I don't like this sort of cinematography in most cases. Anyhow, this new show doesn't seem to go overboard with it. It looks cool!
