Well, since this board's been sitting here empty for some time, I figured I'd post something here to at least get the ball rolling?

Anyway, I've wanted to try my hand at doing AMVs for years, ever since I saw my first one back in the early 90s. It's taken a long time, but I'm finally learning video editing (slowly but surely), and a while back I made my first amv using footage from the original Armitage III oavs:

I know there's interlacing issues when it comes to the picture (the program I'd used to rip the video wasn't that great...I have found a new program that's a lot better, so any future vids won't have this issue), but for my first attempt, I'm actually pretty proud of it. I kinda got snubbed on AMV for reviews because it's not a "new" or wildly-popular anime, but I almost think that makes it even more awesome. XD

But if any of you guys watch it, I'd love to hear what you think.

I did watch the vid, i still have my vhs copies of that series. Excellent work, great choice of song to go with it. If you make another video, please let us know. Again, excellent work.

Thank you! ^^ I really want to make more, and with older series...I think most amvs lately seem to be with new and popular stuff & while that's ok, but old series need love, too!

What's the new program you found to use? I really want to get into making AMVs (SO MANY IDEAS) but I don't know what programs are best for them.

For this I used Magix. It's a pretty good program!
