Mmmm.... Tempting.... At least once in my life. My J-friend in Tokyo asked if I wanted to go with him to the Winter Comiket back in December, but 1. I'd already had one trip to Tokyo for that paycheck, and 2. I was going to be staying with my in-laws during that time. I don't know if he'll be going to the summer one. I'd like to go someday, just for the experience. Then again, I'd rather go to the Summer Wonder Festival again this year instead.
If anyone on here is planning to go to Comiket, let me know.

The wife and I are planning to go. We've been on a kick of hitting one Comiket every 2 years, so currently this one is on the list. Comiket itself is actually more of a thing for her than for me (she likes finding doujinshi for various Western products like LotR), although I often get to see some interesting people there. 2011 was the only time (so far) that I went for the "hardcore otaku" thing and stood in line for hours for the "Modka Magica Production note", it sold out 4 people in front of me.
(I ended up buying it for some markup at Mandarake later)
But anyway, yeah, we'll be in town for that and if anyone wants to meetup at some point.
