Hello everyone!
I enter with the biggest grin on my face! So glad I was accepted to join you all here. I look forward to sharing many memories of the past and excitement for the future with you all.

I know that you're all big *seasoned*/cultured anime fans to even really be here, with lots of relevant experiences and most likely interests and that alone makes me feel like I am right at the home I've been looking for for quite some time!

My name is Jess, I'm 27 years old, have lived in Maryland for most of my life! I've attended Otakon for over a decade, and I'm also big into gaming. I look forward to many awesome discussions with many awesome people! ^_^
And hopefully making some new, possibly lifelong friends and acquaintances!

I'm way more excited than I have any right to be. Hahah.

Nice avatar! Cloud was my favorite part of Robot Carnival myself. Very poetic, and featured the best music.

Welcome Jess! Don't worry, many of us are too old to be a problem. Mostly. Kinda. :)

Thing is, while there's a value to having 'been there', there's an equal value when a person who wasn't there in the day has an affinity to it. Maybe to borrow a New Age term, I think there are 'anime old souls' who are perfectly in tune with us old pharts.

And other blather. :)

Hello! I am new myself and I am sure you will like it here. Look forward to making friends here. It is obvious we are very much kindred spirits here. In time, I intend to meet some of the members at the cons myself. We both know that this a combination or money, time, and effort. Post often and participate. I am confident you will make gains here.

I think some of the threads are just really slow to get the notifications...some of them, I get notifications like 3 days after they've been updated, lol. XD
