Ok, new guy here. Been anime-ing (?) since 1978 (quite you). Have gotten back into model building in the past three years and have just started to get back into my Macross and Gundam kits that were picked up a while back. Have posted two bits already. Cheers.

Hi and Welcome! I think you will have something interesting to add to the conversation. Model kits are for the hardcore fans. I have always been into the anime mostly. I still got a few rare films in my collection. Most of my true rare collectables are my anime soundtracks. Hey we will talk more later.

Thanks guys, appreciate the warm welcome. Not much time to sit and watch videos anymore but I try to make sure that my kids get exposed to studio ghibli whenever possible. Cheers.

I'm into model kit building myself. Here's my stash!

With this talk about models, I don't see enough pictures of finished ones around here. Maybe we need a new thread for that.

Well, I just finished a Yamato one recently, but I've been busy working on non-anime models. I guess we could do a thread on models we've completed in the past.

I want to start buying garage kits and painting them, since I find myself liking the figures more from the 80's-90's era, and painting them myself seems like fun!
