The Old School Otaku Lounge

Last night I bought bus tickets to Tokyo. I decided on a spur of the moment to attend the Winter Wonder Festival on Sunday! I'll have to charge up my camera batteries to cover the event. This time, I will go alone. For the Summer Wonder Festival, I went with my friend. While it was fun, I just cannot go at my own pace when I am with another person. I couldn't see everything I wanted to. I don't have much money at the moment, so I will try to refrain from buying any garage kits.

Well, so much for that idea. A severe snow storm has struck Japan today, and it disabled Tokyo transportation with 12 inches of snow. Even here in Fuji, we had slushy wet snow falling all day. It hasn't snowed like this here in 23 years, I'm told. The expressway is still closed east of here, and even if it clears up by 6am tomorrow morning, I imagine it will still be chaotic in Tokyo. It's begun raining here again tonight, so I imagine it must be snowing more east of here. I just requested a refund on my bus tickets. Drat!
