I have a gmail account, so a Google Hangout is possible for me. As for chat, does stuff like IRC even exist anymore? I never got into IRC back in the day, because if I wanted to go somewhere where I'd be ignored by everyone, I can just go to a mall or somewhere else full of people.

How about Skype?
I used to use IRC, but for some reason it seems to be more difficult using it now than in the old days. That, or we all agree to use the same, single client, like Mibbit? Or maybe both, why not, haha.

Skype is sort of weird for me. It seems to be a resource hog, and after a while it gets wonky on me. Suddenly it decides that there's not enough "USB Bandwidth" (whatever the heck that means) and then it reverts to audio only.
But we're just talking about like an IRC style typing chat room, right?

Skype used to give me similar problems, but after I updated it recently, it seems a lot better. And we can use Skype for just text-based chatting instead of voice chat, too, so it's an option. I never got to use IRC much back in the day, so I dunno of any similar stuff still being used (is IRC still a thing? 
)
What times would be good for people if we were to schedule a chat? Since I know some of you are in Japan, so it'd be good to try to work around time zone issues.

Well, for example, if it is 9am Saturday morning here in Happy J-Land, it is 8pm Friday evening on the East Cost. In California it will be 5pm.
