The Old School Otaku Lounge

This was referenced in an earlier post, and I wanted to bring it to the attention of anime convention people who might not know about it.

The ACML is a valuable resource for anime con organizers, staff, vendors, and fans in general; representatives from most of the major North American anime conventions are on the list and frequently discuss issues ranging from acquiring contacts for screening permissions, hotel contracts, guest contracts, and dealing with the 1001 challenges that come with every anime show, large or small. Also, sometimes there's gossip.

I couldn't agree more with Dave. I've been on the ACML since 1999. It was(still is) an invaluable when I was on staff for Sakura-Con in helping to make my convention better.
