RIP Toshio Hirata

I'm surprised I haven't seen anything mentioned on ANN or other news sites (I guess people are waiting for an official statement?) but industry people have been tweeting about Director/Animator Toshio Hirata passing away on the 25th. He was most known for directing stuff like The Fantastic Adventures of Unico, Bobby's Girl, Barefoot Gen 2 (he also helped on the first one), Time Stranger, Twilight of the Cockroaches...the list goes on an on. http://www.pelleas.net/aniTOP/index.php ... hio_hirata
No word on how he died, but he was 76, so it might've just been old age. Still, sad to hear.
