The Old School Otaku Lounge

This summer I began working on Fine Molds' Missile Escort Ship. It doesn't say so, but this is from Space Battleship Yamato. Fine Molds had the license to the ship design, but not the Yamato name. So, it was marketed with a different paint scheme instead of the yellow, red, and white scheme. I am painting this one up with the Yamato color scheme, using the Mr. Color Yamato paint set. A friend in the States will make decals for me to make it accurate to the show, since the decals that come with the kit are unique only to the kit.
