Saber Marionette "Re:anime" project

Post by usamimi »

Looks like Negishi's got his eye on making a new Saber Marionette anime now that he's done with the "Ai Tenchi Muyo" anime: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... hes/.90156

Considering how awful Ai Tenchi was, I really have no hope for this being very good, either. :/

I got the first SMJ collection on DVD, that and Saber Marrionette R as well to eventually watch one day. I remember in high school sorta liking SMJ, but then again that was high school, that could have changed over the past 15 or so years at this point.

Thanks for sharing usamimi! I'll keep an eye out for this...though based on what I heard about Ai Tenchi Muyo, I'll temper my expectations.

Yeah, my expectations for this are SUPER LOW. I mean, granted I was never a huge fan of the original Saber Marionette series, but I liked some of the characters and the music from it I mean, Megumi Hayashibara did some, so of course!
