How I Met Your Mother is rapidly coming to its conclusion. I have to say, the show really dropped the ball after season 5, when they relied more on stunt casting than stories, and now in its last season, they don't even give us enough time to spend with the mother, who is really the best part of this season! It's sad, because the first 3-4 seasons were great comedy and writing.

TV.com lists 54 replacement, mid-season and returning series between now and August. Just finished Black Sails but several new series have started (Resurrection, The 100 to name but 2) and I am far behind on my catch up for recent series like Sleepy Hollow, Dracula, etc. Just too much good stuff on. Game of Thrones starts again in early April but I haven't finished watching last season (though I have read all the books). Continuum season 3 has started. Heck I'm even behind by 1 week on Arrow, a show I watch religiously. Only reason I'm not behind on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Is it hasn't been on in a couple weeks. Retired but up til 3am most nights and I still can't get caught up with everything I'd like to watch or read...

Game of Thrones new season just started. Of course, if you have read all the books...

Found out about an app for Ipads called vChannel. I have a number of links that let me watch TVB dramas, variety shows, US movies + TV shows, etc. on my idevices. Works very good on the 50mbps internet connection I am linked to via wifi around town (actually from where I am to the west coast of Canada). No subs except Chinese though...

If you need info, PM me.

Okay, so that's the end of GoT for another year. Still trying to play catch up on Penny Dreadful, Continuum, Salem among others. Soon starts Under The Dome season 2 and Falling Skies season 4. Too much stuff...

I felt the same way. I love the first 4 seasons of HIMYM. I kept watching just because I did want to see the mother, but I sort of fell out of love with it's characters as seasons went on. I did feel that Season 9 was amazing...right up to the finale, where the whole last episode just pooped all over the whole season, making the series as a whole feel like a big waste of time. :( I could go on for hours about my disgust for the finale.

FARGO just finished up on FX and I was iffy about it at first, settled into it and really enjoyed most of it, now that it's over I'm still figuring out if it works as a whole or if it's just a collection of great moments. There are some digressions that could have used some trimming, and some plot points that just end without any sort of resolution, and there's a confrontation we don't get that I felt we really needed to see. On the other hand, the cast is terrific, absolutely terrific, and I think on the whole it's well worth watching. You really don't need to have seen the film - it's not so much a remake as it is a side story, maybe.

Akk! Korra season 3 starts on Nickelodeon tonight with 3 back-to-back episodes. Going to have to cap those with my High Def recorder for my friends' kids...

I've been watching "The Strain", which is Guillermo del Toro's new TV show. If you like horror/sci-fi, it's pretty interesting so far. (I'm always happy to see horror-based stuff on tv, we don't get to see it all that often any more, it feels like!) The special effects and make-up are pretty great for a tv series.

Korra got taken off the TV schedule and is only being shown online. No idea why. Even the Show's creator doesn't know. The show isn't cancelled though as they are still in production for Book 4. Very odd...

I heard online it was because of the inconsistent ratings...but that could just be an internet rumor, I suppose. I stopped watching midway through season 2 because I just kinda got bored with it, but I know a lot of people have been frustrated about the way Nick's been handling it. :/ Shame.
