I love how goofy it sounds--that special brand of silly you expect from Dragon Ball. I'm hoping that Funimation will have this streaming somewhere eventually, since they own DBZ.

It certainly seems like Dragon Ball Super will have nice amount of Toriyama's trademark humor mixed in, which I would consider a great sign!

Funimation has been relatively quiet about Dragon Ball Super so far; I'm hoping that we'll know more soon! I would expect that they will be streaming it via their own streaming service, hopefully with a simulcast, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part.

Funi seems to have been really good about getting the films over here in a timely manner, so if they can't manage a simulcast, I hope it'll at least get over here soon-ish? XD I suspect they want to do it as quickly as possible to prevent everyone and their mother fansubbing it, lol. Part of me wonders if they'd even consider doing a simuldub, since that's their new thing as of late...and I assume DBZ is one of their more popular dubbed titles.

I was actually expecting a simuldub for Dragon Ball Super, but with the premiere being so close, and without an announcement from Funimation, I have my doubts. I thought this might be a perfect candidate for a simuldub considering the popularity of Dragon Ball in the United States.

Well it seems from what I've heard, the air date for DB Super is still kind tentative, anyway? Like they're not entirely sure it'll be ready...(HMMM sounds a lot like another Toei show started out....*side-eyes Sailor Moon Crystal*) BUT hopefully if there is a delay it won't be long.

Funi doesn't always start their simuldubs right away, so it could still happen with a delayed start? I guess we'll have to wait and see!

They'd be stupid NOT to try to get it on TV here, considering how well Kai's doing lately!

I'd have to assume Cartoon Network wants to add it to the Toonami block...I wonder if it would air instead of or in addition to Dragon Ball Kai.
