The Old School Otaku Lounge

I don't care to watch it in English so I've direct viewed it and got the subbed releases. It's fun but nothing much has happened. The manga is supposed to start in August. Since Toriyama is writing this I guess it's canon. Overshadowed by all the events at Comicon this past weekend though. Looking forward to movies like Deadpool, Suicide Squad, etc. and all the new TV stuff. Not looking forward to Attack on Titan live film because of all the changes from the manga and anime. RPGs and Stinger missiles? Really?

Weird. I did not know about that. AFAIK, the only really high tech equipment in the manga/anime are those "3D maneuver suits" or whatever they're called.

I really hope that there's an official streaming option for this soon...the show looks so cool!

I'm crossing my fingers for maybe SOME kind of announcement at Otakon...I'm starting to lose hope for a simulcast, even tho we're only 2 eps in, lol.

You can buy the channel from Fuji or you can get it on one of those Chinese TV boxes as there are many Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. channels on them. How good they work is anyone's guess. I hear from Chinese friends that for what they and their parents watch, it's okay. Don't know about the Japanese channels though as I don't know anyone who watches them...

No episode for next week. Also, looks like a different studio takes over a couple weeks. It was like this for DBZ I'm told with alternating companies every 3 weeks, so it makes sense. They seem to be virtually line by line reusing the plot from Battle of Gods with some new material added. I guess Future Trunks never happened in this version either since all reference to him having beaten Freezer has been excised. Just awaiting the subbed release for today. Probably in a couple hours...

Funimation didn't release any news on Super.....ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so frustrating!! I don't really want to have to watch fansubs but it's looking more and more likely I might have to. ><
