Path wrote:Nordstar, that is an awesome collection. I also remember the multi-colored VHS tapes. I think my Those Who Hunt Elves ones were white. I need to go through my tapes at some point and cull the ones I have on DVD. How was Plastic Little? I bought it, but its been low priority in my backlog.

Video Comics! My Zillion tapes were from them, don't think I had any others. Robot Carnival is a classic, so is Cagliostro.
I like Plastic Little it was one of the ones I rented back in the day. Its fun.

The "Video Comics" is just what Streamline Pictures put on the spines of their tapes to make them stick out. I don't have the Zillion tapes yet.

This is the price tag that is on the Orguss tapes. Anyone know of them they have a website http://www.sfcontinuum.com/info.html

All these tapes but the Orguss tapes were bought off of ebay, which I waited for lots and lower starting bids. The orguss tapes where at a local antique store, I paid $30 for those tapes.

I still need to get the three Macross II tapes, USR-VD32 which is Fight!! Iczer One Perfect Dub Pack [tapes 1 and 2 with collector book] and USR-VD33 Dragon Century. I have a list of the tapes and their catalog numbers USR-VD1 through USR-VD33. I do not know what USR-VD28 and USR-VD29 are, they aren't any of the five tapes just mentioned. I know what their catalog numbers are. Does any one know of any other tapes or what the two missing tapes are if there where any?

Here are some anime T-shirts I've had since high school. I usually wear these to bed (except for the Macross one... I only wear that occasionally to help preserve it).

oh man, jealous of those t-shirts! I remember my comic shop had the Bubblegum Crisis one when I was a teenager but they wanted like $30 for it! :(

I can't remember how much I paid for it. I also have a Linna in a bikini t-shirt from AnimEigo, too. I don't wear that outside the house. The Lum shirt has really held together for me for the past 20 years. Other shirts newer than that one have fallen apart, but the ink hasn't faded terribly on it, either.

Maybe tomorrow I'll take a picture of my Viz Video Ranma 1/2 shirt. The only other anime shirt I have is the "Hyaku Shiki" 百式 shirt from Zeta Gundam I bought at Kiddy Land about 5 years or so ago. It is the same shirt worn by the guy in the Densha Otoko movie (which paled in comparison to the TV drama). I have a ton of other nerd-related T-shirts, but not so many anime shirts.

Oh yes, I do have one more BGC shirt. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. It's nearly midnight here in J-land. Time for bed.

Here is the back of my T-shirt for the Phoenix-based Anime Archive BBS which I belonged to. The small window in the image above is of the logo on the front of the shirt, a small logo on the left breast.

The artwork was done by a local guy I believe named Brad Snow. I never met him, as he never attended any of the Anime Archive BBS get-togethers.

I bought this at a place called Mandai in Kai-shi, Yamanashi-ken: KOR Sound Color 1 soundtrack for only 500 yen! One of my friends had this CD when I was in college. I can't remember which friend. But, I now have it for myself! Yay!

Snagged my sister's camera and went through some of my old things at my parents' house this weekend. Here are some Animerica mags:

Who was Mai Anime anyway? Was she an alter-ego of Trish Ledoux, or were her columns written by committee?

A young Mike Toole showing off his writing chops. :)

I had all of those issues at one point in time! I hope to get some of them back some day.

I was always curious about "Mai", too...I thought it might be Trish as well, but I think I vaguely remembered Trish doing some reviews in there by name, so... :? Hmmm. Maybe Mike Toole remembers?

Ah, Ayane's High Kick...Mike totally nailed it with that review. Predictable, but in a good way, definitely.
